This is my first blog post. *Takes a deep breath* Not having written anything like this before, it is slightly scary so please don't be mean. I've decided to kick off my blog with a tag, because everybody loves tags, right? Let's get started.
How many times do you wash your face daily?
I wash my face twice: morning and night.
What type of skin do you have?
Combination. Generally it is oilier in the summer and drier in the winter.
What is your current face wash?
The simple kind to skin moisturising face wash.
Do you exfoliate?
Sometimes. I am only a teenager, and I don't want to mess too much with my skin.
What brand do you use?
I have tried the Simple one and a lush one (I can't remember the names of either!)
What moisturiser do you use?
Either the Simple Hydrating Light Moisturiser or the Simple Replenishing Rich Moisturiser (although it sounds like it, I promise I'm not advertising Simple!)
Do you have freckles?
I have a couple of strange freckles on their own. They sometimes just look like spots though!
Do you use eye cream?
Nope. I did get a tester of one before but I don't believe i need one right now.
Do you or did you have acne prone skin?
My skin is becoming more acne prone (aaagh!)
Did you ever use ProActiv?
No I haven't, nor will I try in the future.
What foundation do you use?
Currently the Revlon Nearly Naked foundation in Shell. But I also like the Rimmel Wake Me Up and many others.
The one I use the most is the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer in Light 2.
Do you know your undertone colour?
I think I'm more reddish. (I'm no expert!)
What do you think of fake eyelashes?
I'm not keen on them.
Did you know that you are supposed to change your mascara every 3 months?
I certainly do.
What mascara do you use?
My current favourite is the Collection Killer Curves, just because my lashes are very straight.
Sephora or Mac?
Sephora is not really an English thing, so I'll have to say Mac.
Do you have a Mac Pro-card?
What make-up tools do you use in make-up application?
Brushes (real techniques generally) Eyelash curler...I can't really think of any others.
Do you use make-up base/primer for the eyes?
No. I had a free mini Urban Decay Primer Potion which I loved, but unfortunately my bank account didn't agree.
For the face?
A Collection one, I'm not sure on the name.
What is your favourite eye shadow? (Colour or Shade)
Anything neutral really.
Pencil or liquid liner?
I prefer pencil and gel.
How often do you poke your eyes with an eye liner pencil?
Not often at all.
What do you think of pigment eye shadows?
I've never tried them. They don't seem that amazing.
Do you use mineral make-up?
No I don't.
I love the Revlon Colourburst LipButter in Raspberry Pie right now.
How about lip gloss?
The Natural Collection tinted lip balm in Caribbean Crush is really nice.
Sleek Rose Gold is amazing, and its at a great price.
Do you buy make-up on e-bay?
Do you like drugstore makeup?
Yes! So much of it is underrated.
Do you go to CCO's? (Cosmetic Company Outlets)
What the hell are they?
Did you ever consider taking make-up classes?
I would love to in the future.
Are you clumsy when putting on makeup?
Generally no. Although my eye makeup occasionally used to be.
Name a makeup crime you hate?
i hate it when people over do their eyebrows. It can look awful!
Do you like colourful shades of make-up (lipstick, eye shadow) or neutral tones?
I prefer neutral eye shadows but bright and colourful lips!
Which celebrity always has great make-up?
I love Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's makeup when her foundation is glowy, and she always has amazing blush shades. But I think almost every celeb has beautiful makeup.
If you could leave the house with just ONE Make-up item, what would you use?
Probably concealer because it can cover up blemishes and sometimes look like foundation, so its a 2 in 1!
Could you ever leave the house without any make-up on?
Yes. Unless I have a bad blemish I often get away with no makeup (it doesn't happen very often!)
Do you think you look good even without any make-up on?
If I'm having a good skin day, I can look just about acceptable!
In your opinion, what is the BEST make-up line?
Far too many to chose from, sorry!
What do you think of makeup?
I love it! It makes me a much more confident person. I love it when people compliment your makeup and it not only makes you look great, it is so fun to play around with it and have fun.
Thanks for reading. I hope you enjoyed this, and if you did please leave a comment.
